Svechnikov or Zegras or Newhook, rank these players
In a points only keeper, please rank these 3 players for the next 3 years : Svechnikov, Zegras and Newhook.
Which one has the higher ceiling?

Svechnikov. Always saying this but I think he’s the more dynamic player. I can see a ceiling of 90-100 points. Zegras is going to be the better overall player with a ceiling of around 75-85 points. I just think Svech can score 40+ goals consistently during his peak. It’s a tough one but I will stick with Svech now and the foreseeable future.

I like all 3.
But I might be more inclined too choose between Svech and Zegras. I believe that between these 2 they have the better opportunity to see top line mins and #1 PP mins consistently.

Talent-wise I like Svechnikov here, but I'm a big fan. Even in points only Svechnikov has a proven record and great linemates. While I think Zegras and Svechnikov are close, Zegras just doesn't have the linemates at this point to say that he can overtake Svechnikov in the next few years.
Newhook is going to be a really good player, but I don't see him getting the opportunities the others will.

My list is the same as Pengwin7's (gap between Svechnikov and the other two).

FWIW - in 4+ years, depending on Zegras' surrounding wingers... I could see him topping these guys.
Newhook could be a very good player too, and has upside to match a Svechnikov year.
But next 3 years, I think we all have a consensus that Svech is just way way more developed, surround by talent, and will get his TOI minutes.
