I suspect he received some offers. He can still contribute in many ways. Perhaps he just wants to finish is career at home, like Datsyuk and Jagr.

seems like the b’s are obviously still in win now mode. Wonder why he didn’t want to kick the can for one more cup run. But I guess he already has one so maybe the motivation isn’t there

I just love it when a player plays for the same team his entire career. One of the best things in sport.

hes young enough to play a few more meaningful years back home. good for him, walking out of the NHL on his own terms. im certain the bruins would rather have him back than not.

Sad to see him go but can fully appreciate wanting to go home to play close to family. Krejci was a huge contributor to Boston’s success and I wish him nothing but the best.

Underrated hockey player by many. Much respect to him, but as a rival.. he won't be missed :P

Taylor Hall's 5-on-5 value just went down. Or at least temporally depending who David Krejci's replacement is. Doubtful they find someone better.

This is very true. Foligno, Haula or Coyle are big steps down from Krejci. Bring back Jumbo Joe!!
