Somewhat surprising he could swing two years. It's amazing to think he's now 36 and it was a full decade ago that he had his massive season.

Great move by TB! With the lost of Gourde/Goodrow/Coleman, he will bring grit to this team. I was not expecting a lot from him last season and he was a nice surprise. He was a key piece for the Habs during the playoffs. A true warrior and great mentor.

Ya, a lot of these guys know each other off the ice already and what happens for 60 minutes usually stays there. Those who dont know him probably respect his game. I dont foresee this being an issue. They are probably happy to have him on their side for a change considering the way he battles.

Yeah, kinda being hyperbolic. I think people sort of get the deal with Perry. But it's funny that he'll now be finally joining them. Getting Marian Hossa vibes from it.

Because he's almost never mentioned around here anymore, I thought I'd bring up the pretty incredible resurgence he's having so far.
After 21 points in 57 and 49 games the past 2 seasons, Perry already has 19 points in 36 games. Not to mention almost 80 SOG.
Way to go Perry!
