Evander Kane vs Taylor hall vs Kyle Connor? Who would you want?

In leagues that go deep and include hits, PIMs, and shots, Evander Kane may have the most value. But still, based on age, upside, I can see why people take Kyle Connor first. I do as well, because he seems to be the most stable of the three, as the other two have been known locker room cancers.

But for people to pick Taylor Hall over Evander Kane are just going based on past name recognition and success and/or thinking because Hall is a Bruin it magically makes him more valuable. He'll be on the second line with an aging David Krejci on the back-9 of his career, inevitably hitting a wall, which maybe coming at any mome... Now? Long story short, take away the former 1st overall selection and Hart win, Corey Perry also won a Hart, but I wouldn't grab him on my fantasy team. And yeah, so the other one makes stupid life choices, burned through tens of millions of dollars and doesn't have a good reputation with past teammates, but neither does the other guy when it comes to the latter. After all, this is about on ice production and Evander makes good.

I look at what each player did in their past 3 years and see what they have done now and in the past 3 years, because oh yeah, when Hall had more value than Evander was back in 17/18. Over 3 seasons ago. So this isn't recency bias or what have you done for me lately, but yeah, it kind of is, because that's what gives you a better impression of what you could be looking into this Fall. Not what happened in 17/18. Unless we're going back in time and it's the Fall of 2018. Damn, so many mistakes made I can undo these past few years... anyway, lets see how they stack up... and why lazy is lazy and just skimmed based on name recognition.

Now keep in mind, Kane has played 31 more games, so even if Hall's average is slightly better at 66 vs. 64, Kane has beat him at every other stage. Durability also plays a factor. That's Kane. Evander treats his body like a temple. He's the supreme narcissist and that bolds well, because you put more love into yourself, and that also means his body.. so he's been very consistent and staying healthy for the past 4 years. Where as Hall can't say the same. Also Kane is a power forward and they take longer to break out. Which would make sense that his year-to-year production over 82 games has steadily gone up: 50, 57, 61, 60, and 72. Hall's last 5 year trend doesn't look as promising: 60, 100, 92, 66, and 51.

Keep in mind, one is on the 1st line being used on the top PP, the other is on the 2nd line on the PP. Okay so Krejci isn't so bad, but at age 35 how long can he keep up this 70 point prorate over 82 games? Also, even with Boston, Hall's 14 points in 16 games tracks the same in points-per-game as Kane's .88, but at a much smaller sample size to Kane's 56 games.

It's close, and while history has shown as there was a superstar one time in Hall, that is a thing of the past. Like Corey Perry and Jason Spezza.. they all have a peak, hit it, were superstars, but then came down to earth. We're now there. Evander is on the up and Hall, well, he's on the up as well... the B's are certainly better than any team has played for, but that being said, he's 30 going into a downward trend. He's not your 17/18 Hart winner.

Thanks for the in depth analysis. The actual trade offer is his adam fox and Evander Kane for my scheifele and Connor. My analysis is that scheifele and fox are similar in value with one being a dman and the other a Centre but not a huge difference in fantasy point production.
It's for the first team in signature.
