Holtby was a dumb signing to begin with.
The OEL move, then Schmidt's agent looking for suitors...now this...is this space for Pettersson and Hughes Long term? Or is it bridge deals and other moves coming?
Only matters if your now new space is worth it.

Petrified Benning makes dumb decisions tomorrow. Seems the Nucks are being mentioned all over the place....
He just paid a boatload to clear up some past mistakes. They still have half of a defense (less if Schmidt leaves) and their two best players unsigned--all while being a cap team.

I think they are trying to get something done for Schmidt to the Isles. Schmidt has used his NTC to kill a couple of trades to Winnipeg it sounds like.

Holtby was good insurance in case Demko wasnt ready. Demko is ready and we paying the price now. Its not too bad, just 500k this season and 1.9m next. Not ideal but it is what it is.
i am fully expecting Miller to get moved next offseason with 1 year left on his deal.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
