What do you guys think his upside is? What kind of numbers do you see him putting up this season?

I would be thrilled to see him put up mid 60's for pts this season. Hoping he scores mid 20's for goals.

I like the upside that Dobber had projected in the fantasy guide; 95pts.

I'm big on this kid from when he first started to be on peoples radars. Probably agree with what TheDard said. Hopefully the Sens can add to the lineup to help him reach his full point potential.

His upside is huge but he is still growing. Once the talent around him grows, so will his game.

Next year I see him in the upper 40s, low 50s if all goes well.

I agree with this. I watched a lot of Sens games last year and this kid more than passed the eye test. Early on he was skating around 12 minutes a night and he was getting a rude welcome to the NHL taking a lot of significant hits. I was worried that the Sens may be throwing him under the bus, that he was just not ready. However, the kid is tough, he's built like a tank and fortunately, like the energizer bunny, he took a beating and kept on ticking. Then, he began to figure things out. His feet were moving all the time, he started using more ice and not getting himself into battles he could not win. He began to play his game. The last 15 games compared to the first 15 games were like night and day. Stutzle and the Sens will continue to grow, I would however, manage expectations for this year. That said, this is a kid who played a full NHL season as an 18 year old. Very few 18 years old's can do that. I think Stutzle's development curve will be a short one, I don't think we are waiting 4 or 5 years for him to break out. I don't think that breakout happens next year, but the following year with another NHL season under their belts, the Sens should have two very nice scoring lines and Stutzle will absolutely be a huge part of that progression.

He paced for 45 pts. He also struggled out of the gate (to be expected) while finding a groove. If hockey reference wasn't having issues for me I'd provide splits to hopefully back this claim up. I'm putting him at mid-high 50's, but drafting for 48-50.

EDIT: Now able to check his splits, I am wrong on him having a slow start. Actually dipped more in March/April.
To note though Stutzle had only 9 pts in 26 games at home. While on the road he had 20 pts in 27 games. Interesting/odd

Great potential but needs more time. Wild guess for 2021/22 season is 48 points. To me that would be pretty good. Anything above that is gravy.

Ya after my wrong assumption of him having a slow start, I'm lowering my prediction to a 52 point pace. I can see more though.
