This is a cap league and my window of opportunity are the next 2 years (maybe more). I am looking to acquire another goalie and I am not sure which one of these guys is the best to go after ... so that is why I am here. So who do you prefer:

    Markstrom or Jarry

Thanks and will REP where I can!

Both are complete crap shoots. If I had to choose I'd go with Markstrom but he's also more expensive. If you've got the cap space, he's my pick but I'm confident in Jarry putting up similar numbers to last year. He just crapped the bed in the playoffs.

When is it that you need to decide this? TODAY, Calgary’s D I’d up in the air, having just lost Giordano to the Kraken. By Wednesday, if they look like they’re just sticking with the in-house prospects, then Markstrom will look weaker. Penguins lost 2 forwards, but kept Marcus Pettersson, and should have a healthy Dumoulin back from his injuries. But me, I’d wait til 7/29 if I could.

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

That's the way I'd look at it.

Markstrom for me. I hope people are right about Jarry, but I've seen a lot of reports about Pittsburgh trying to find a goalie to push him. I guess we will see what happens but I trust markstroms talent and his security in his job. Obviously free agency could change a lot.

Jarry slightly over Markstrom. I just feel Jarry will have another good season and hopefully a healthy one. If he’s healthy he could have a great season. But like many have said before, goalies are unpredictable and voodoo. Good luck
