Makar is awesome and worth every penny.

FWIW, Marner "may" be slightly overpaid (compared to Makar), but based on what many others are making, Marner's also worth the money he's getting. I'd much rather have Marner at his cap hit over so many other NHLers. Marner has paced for 90+ pts the last three seasons. He's clearly an elite talent earning elite-talent money.

My Dobber team is loaded on COL players (including Makar), and it's hurting so far. At least Kadri did some damage while up on that top line.

They also had a backup goalie in last night against a strong Panthers team.

Their next game is against TBL so that could be fun.
