    Default Adam Boqvist

What are your thoughts on him now being with Columbus?
Potentially compete with Bean for PP#2?
    See top 4 minutes?

    Following.
    He was one of my
Keepers. Now, I don’t know if he will be good in Columbus.
    They tend to ruin players.

I don't think this move helps Boqvist whatsoever. He was in a good environment and tracking nicely. Now? I guess we'll see, but if I'm a Boqvist owner I am not a happy camper today.

From potential PP1 down to PP2.

From a team with a good offense to a team that is losing a new player every day, it seems.

The kid struggles with defensive coverage. Unsure who will help him with that in Columbus.

This was not a good move for his fantasy owners. On the bright side, I'm sure that, sooner or later, Werenski will ask for a trade, so Boqvist can have PP1 all to himself.

Very unsure. From a pretty good and comfortable situation into a more volatile environment. If he succeeds in Columbus it will say a lot about his make up. Definite challenge to play on PP1. He will have to prove he deserves that ice time now.

Well made a trade. I moved Boqvist for a early 2nd rd pick ( 3rd pick of the 2nd rd).
As I didn't like his situation much in Columbus.

Thanks for the input everyone. Will rep where I can.

Lucky you. I’m getting no bites. If I drop him he will be available at the draft and someone can just have for free by drafting him.

i own him and i dont like move to columbus at all but this is just crazy...he will be worth more than that even if he fails in year one...i think you made a rush decision. He could very well blossom there too who knows..he is a good, talented offensive Dman.

I agree with this assessment. I would happily trade for Boqvist at that price. I mean someone will have to pick up the defensive minutes, Werenski only has 1 year left, and they still need to sign a couple of defensemen. I would have waited until there was a clearer picture to make a move.

I own Boqvist and he's a bubble keep for me. CBJ has used two D on PP1, but that was under the old regime. Voracek joining Laine, Bjorkstrand, Roslovic/Domi, and Werenski on PP1 feels the most probable at the moment. I was pretty disappointed to see this deal happen after Keith was shipped out. That trade got me excited. I'm on the fence with what to do, and unfortunately will end up trying to re-draft him. Few GMs have shown interest. If I were rebuilding rather than trying to contend, I'd probably hold on and see.

I was going to be hard pressed to keep him given who else I have on D and how much their cards would cost me and Boqvist card wasn't going to help me this year.
    So getting a 2nd I think is a win. As I now have 2 x 2nd and 3 x 3rd round picks for coming draft.
Which I am hoping to package up some and move into the 1st rd or grab a good young prospect.
