    Default Potential draft choices

Hey all. I've got the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th overall pick this year. Thinking of drafting the following fwds as D men have little value in our league. Points only, G1/A1.

    1. Eklund
    2. Beniers
    3. Guenther
    6. Raty (take a shot and hope for the best?) Otherwise I was thinking McTavish or Lysell if available.

    Thoughts?

    Pretty awesome draft.

    Beniers
    Eklund
    Lysell
    Guenther

Depending on your league, Wallstedt might also be a nice snag with the 6th overall

to me im shooting for the moon with this class and i draft for offensive upside...that being said Berniers is not on my list cause i think that his upside is not very high and what makes him wanted NHL commodity is that fact that is floor is high.

    Eklund
    Guenther
    Johnson
    Lysell

i would draft those in order i have them...now you got a gap there...if Lysell is not there i would draft THE goalie or Clarke...

Take a shot and hope for the best would be more reliable in a bet for Lysell. He also has questions marks but probaly more upside. Could also go for Johnson. You'll draft at least a bust with 4 picks but if you're lucky you'll get 2-3 good forwards.

I really like taking Beniers Eklund and guenther at the top. I might be a dissenting opinion here but I don’t think Lysell has really shown that he is on track to be a big point producer in the NHL and to add I think he will be picked a bit later than 6th IRL. If you still want pure upside forwards I would lean Johnson at 6.

I never go for the safe pick.. yea sure, you'll feel better if you hit on the next Krejci or Jordan Staal, but those are guys that can be had in the WW throughout the season.

Always go for upside, and in this case, I rank them,

    Eklund
    Wallstedt
    Johnson
    Guenther
    Lysell
    Berniers
    Clarke
    Hughes
