yeah im on Kaprizov train too..i think he is just scratching the surface...interesting thing will be to see weather or not he stays in NHL but with 8mil per season offer that he rejected i think he will...that money is not there in KHL.

Gaudreau is so underrated because of "flavour of the month Kirill"... until the kid does what Gaudreau has, btw Gaudreau was already out producing him at a younger age, and now has been freed from being attached to the hip of Monahan, he's returned to his 18/19 form, putting up 22 points in 16 games with Tkachuk and Lindholm. Give me the guy who's only 4 years older and comes with 78, 84, and 99 point seasons to back and support his history.

Safer bet, and yes, there is no fear of him going back to Russia. Remember, it took several years for him to come to the NHL from the day he was drafted. Johnny Hockey is the safer bet. And when that safer bet has a chance to play with better linemates he produces. Also a six-time All-Star.

Gaudreau plays for Sutter. That isn’t good. Kaprizov may return to the KHL again to wait for UFA status.

He had 22 points in 16 games under Sutter when taken off of Monny's line. Iginla had monster seasons under him as well. Am I missing something?

Gaudreau for me. Too many question marks surrounding KK and I honestly don't like the game he and his agent are playing. There is a "Russian Factor" at play here and that's a red flag. On the other side of the argument is a player who's accomplishments are many, he's been there done that and at the ripe old age of 27 he is in his prime. I include Coach Suter in a similar vain. Look at the records and the numbers. I'd recommend digging a bit deeper here rather than immediately gravitating to the shiny new toy.
