I don't think Keith actually changes a whole lot what they decide with their keepers. But this is such a weird move. I don't get how you take on the whole amount of salary and give up picks.

You can't put a price on Stanley Cup winning experience and the leadership he'll bring to the team but this is not a good trade today. The proof of whether this trade was a winner or loser will happen in the next two years of his remaining contract on the ice.
I personally can't stand Duncan Keith and even as an Oilers fan, I won't cheer for him, but I'll continue to hope for good things for the team.

Holland was terrible in Detroit. You may want to revisit what he actually did there besides spend way too much money. He did not acquire any of the core of his championship teams.
There is no way the Oilers are protecting Keith. It would be so stupid...almost as stupid as trading for him in the first place.

Well he was pretty good in the middle but yes towards the end it was a pretty bad track record.
