Lets be honest, goalies ceiling lasts longer than skaters. I have a lot more faith in Vasilevskiy for the next 7-8 years playing at an extremely high level compared to most skaters out there.

In goalie years, Vasilevskiy is JUST coming into his prime, even though owners have benefited from his excellence well before his prime.

Very accurate. Just think of all the lucky bastards who have owned him in his so called non-prime years. Damn.

Love how his dad and Kucherov think he should have won a Vezina over Bucky having mediocre to average numbers save two months, and one of those being 4 games long... and Connor playing in front of a swiss cheese defence.

Just take the win and be happy your son won the Conn Smyth and two Cups. Poor sports.

There's a cliff coming, but it's not likely coming until he's in his 30's.

Could he decline a little bit? Sure. But that's not a cliff.

    I would definitely move Vas in a 10-team Keep5, H2H.
I think these leagues are best won by elite skater talent... and there's always hot goalies in March/April to help win goalie cats - which can also be slow-played to win SV%/GAA or heavy-played to take W/SV.

Either way, I'm just not a much bigger fan of skaters in shallow leagues (which a 10-team partial keeper is/qualifies as).
