I think that is too much. With Rossi's health issues, I doubt I would give up the 5th pick alone for him. Granted, I thought he went way too high in some drafts last year.
Is Brannstrom and a 1st Round Pick (5th overall) for Rossi good value?
Have other defensive prospects such as Harley, Byram, Addison as well.

It depends in part on what that 5th overall pick gets you. Is it a 2021 rookie draft pick?
On the whole, I'd say it is close, but I'd go with Brannstrom and the pick because Brannstrom seems rather close to decent production, even if Chabot is ahead of him. You could probably do Brannstrom for Rossi and more in February after Rossi is still in the minors and Brannstrom is producing in the NHL.
If you believe Rossi is gonna be a star that's ok. Also you won't get him with equal value so you'll have to overpay.
With that said, I would keep what you have. 2 chances at an elite/good player instead of one is better in my opinion. If I trade 2 premium prospects I want a proven player, not another prospect. Also depends what value have D's in your league.
I would try to at least add another lesser pick or prospect with Rossi.
i own Rossi and i would reject branstrom + 5th overall this year..
Is there a bit of concern with his current health scare? i guess but everything we hearing, nobody seams to think it will affect him at all. And if you getting Rossi that was drafted, yes please give me that deal. if he somehow lands on line with Kaprizov and maybe even fiala, watch out.

I would take Rossi side. Brannstrom doesn't get me excited like he does.
Call me old one more time.

There is some risk here with Rossi, he's an unknown and there are some other concerns, but the price is very reasonable and you can afford to move Brannstrom with the other D you have without taking a hit. If you like Rossi, it's worth a shot. The 5th is also a complete unknown but it's very likely that whoever that fetches will not be fantasy relevant for a few years. Sometimes you need to take a few chances and I think this trade is a chance worth taking.
