    Rantanen
    Lindholm
    Necas or Hamilton
    Carlson

Had a hard time between keeping Hamilton and a young guy in Necas. Could go either way there.

I think this is the right way to go. Necas is the 5th choice, but in a keep 4, there will probably be someone better than him available in the draft.

Yeah Rantanen, Lindholm, Carlson and Hamilton are my picks too. The other players you listed are redraftable. You could try to trade Carlson but in a keep 4 you're not going to get something as good, so just keep him. I'm not a big fan of Lindholm but he's the best remaining forward you have.
    Team 1:
J Hughes, Cooley (r), Bratt, Laine, M Tkachuk, Necas, A Svechnikov, S Jarvis, M Michkov (r), W Johnston, Zegras, Giroux, Norris, Couturier, B Jenner, T Krug, Burns, M Weegar, Werenski, Sergachev, B Clarke (r), Theodore, Sorokin , Oettinger, Askarov (r), Ersson
    12 teams, No salary cap
Keep 14 plus 4 rookies (under 150 GP) max 18 players
    Scoring: G (1), A (1), +/- (0.25), H (0.1), B(0.1), PIM (0.1), SOG (0.1), GWG (1), PPP (1), SHP (1),
    Goalies: W (2), SO (3), GA (-0.5), OTL (1), SV (0.1)

I would consider keeping Miller over Lindholm with these stats. Similar point production, but provide more PIMs and hits.
    12 Teams H2H Dynasty, 4C, 4LW, 4RW, 6D, 2G, 12 bench
    G: 4.5 A: 2.5 STP: 1 SOG/Hits/Blocks: 0.5 W: 3 SV: 0.25 GA: -1 SHO: 2

C: Zibanejad, Couturier, Couture, Kadri, Nelson, Pageau
LW: Miller, E. Kane, Schenn, Crouse, Vatrano, Henrique
RW: Kucherov, Wilson, Giroux, Toffoli, Tippett, Wheeler, Eberle, Brown
D: Chabot, S. Jones, DeAngelo, Krug, Spurgeon, Orlov, Gudas, Fehervary, Fowler
    G: Vasilevskiy, Hellebuyck, Thompson, Montembeault
    IR: Landeskog

    21 minors (< 80GP):
F : Miroshnichenko, Brink, Kovalenko, Beckman, Phillips, Sokolov, Farrell, Poitras, Dufour, Whitelaw
D : Spence, Svozil, Pickering, Lacombe, Kaiser
G: Silovs, Fowler, Bussi, Ersson, Zherenko, Kolosov

That’s where I’m stuck and was slightly leaning Miller but it’s close

Agree, be nice just to keep the one D but hard to let them go over those forwards.

Appreciate the replies so far guys, figured it would be between lindholm and Miller for the final spot and necas close behind them.

Carlson is toast. His underlying numbers are getting steadily and quickly worse. Caps are getting older and slower. No way I’m keeping Carlson.

Well unfortunately this list is not exactly stacked with elite NHL talent. Of the guys listed, I would consider Rantanen and Hamilton to be elite. I wouldn't go quite so far as to say Carlson is toast but I fully agree that both he and the Caps are very likely on the decline and accordingly I'm not inclined to keep Carlson. I like Miller in your format as well. Then things get a little bit more interesting with Necas and Lindholm. Malkin is also a consideration, but as is the case with Carlson and the Caps, the clock is ticking faster on Gino and the Pens window for a cup and continuing elite production. The recent surgery is also a concern. I'll turn Malkin lose but I would not have an issue taking a flyer on him in the draft if he falls out of the first round or so. So this brings us to Lindholm and Necas. My choice here is Necas. I think they will put up very similar numbers next year but I'm looking down the road a bit here. Lindholm is what he is. Necas, well I don't think we've seen anywhere near his upside. This is a guy who could truly become elite. I certainly like the offensive environment in Carolina. So, for me:

    Rantanen
    Hamilton
    Miller
    Necas
    14 Team Roto; Keep 25; 12 F, 6 D, 2 G; 10 Farm; 5 Bench; 5 IR;

    Salary Cap - 102.5 Mil

Scoring Cats: G, A, Pts, PIM, Hits, BS, SOG, F Points, D Points; Win+Ties+SO, GAA, SV%

    Keepers

F: Aho, Larkin, DeBrincat, Vrana, Bennett, Scheifele, Kakko,Tolvanen, McBain,

    D: Heiskanen, Fox, Toews, Lundqvist

    G: Swayman, Andersen, Copley

    Drops

F: Gaudreau, Terravainen, Puljujarvi, Kravstov, Zary

    D: Brannstrom, Cernak, Alexeyev

    G: Korpisalo, Merzlikins

FARM: Rossi, Berggren, Holtz, Savoie, Clarke, Tarasov, Wolf

I too worry about Carlson, I will look to trade him and see how that goes. We are expanding from 14 to 18 teams and may be a good opportunity to flip him for draft picks
