Made a trade yesterday and having a bit of buyer's remorse.

Which side do you prefer?

Jeremy Swayman (minors)

FOR

Andrei Svechnikov
Barrett Hayton (minors)

I think this is a even trade.

I prefer the Svechnikov side slightly.

Main reasons:

1) Svechnikov is a younger version of Landeskog
2) I prefer Hayton's upside over Swayman. Admittedly I had never heard of Swayman until he got the call up to Boston.

I like the Svechnikov side. He's by far the best keeper asset in the deal.
Landeskog is a power forward and those types don't tend to age well, and he is getting up there.
I'm not sure about Hayton (I'm iffy on any Coyote - here's hoping they turn a corner soon...)
I like Swayman, but I have a lot of trouble gauging goalies.

Yeah... Svech/Hayton by a mile!

Swayman is still a hit/miss guy.
We've seen a ton of goalies run a final two months of an NHL season (#Hamburgler) only to struggle in future years.
Swayman is solid, he won't be a bust, but he's not a lock-hit.
Svech is lock-hit...
And Hayton, I think, is a lock C2... with middle-ish C1 upside.
