Draft help needed. Who are my targets?

I’m looking for advice on what players and positions I should be drafting. I have multiple picks in the upcoming draft where draft eligible players and players that are not drafted into the pool can be drafted. Notable undrafted players are Vanacek(was), Hintz (dal), Dreidger(fla), Lankinen (chi), lundell (fla), Addison (min).
I have picks 2,4,5,14,25,26, and 36 overall. We have a roster limit of 31 players so I will be looking at making trades and drops during the draft to decrease my roster to 31.
All oft his is a long winded way of asking, who should I be targeting at 2,4,5,and 14?

I’d be targeting Driedger and Hintz first.

Hintz would be my top target out of that group.

Then I would consider one of the goalies and Lundell at the 4/5 pick

I'm with PenguinHunter. Hintz and Lundell I'd target.

Dreiger or Vanecek both could with up in Seattle orrrrr they could wind up in Buffalo. I wouldn't blame you for aiming for one of them but who knows what will happen or the next month.

Vanacek(was), Hintz (dal), Dreidger(fla), Lankinen (chi) ... If you can get 3 of these players with picks 2,4,5... that'd be my plan. Looking at your roster, your goalies could definitely use an upgrade. Hintz is also too good to pass up as well.

I think the guy at 1 is looking at draft eligible players, with a good chance he takes Wallstedt. The guy at 3 is a wildcard. I’m thinking he goes Hintz but there a chance he takes a guy like powers, Clarke, Hughes or beniers.

I'd definitely take Hintz at 2, then Dreidger and Lankinen at 4 and 5 if possible. Hintz I think is a real good player long term.

So, nobody is thinking the draft eligible players are worth a top 5 pick? I know this draft is a crapshoot, but I figured there would be some love for them.

Your signature makes it look like you don't have a prospect team and any prospect not active in the NHL is taking a spot that could be used for a player who can contribute now. If that's the case I'd largely ignore this year's draft class to start.

Yes. I'm also steering well clear of Lankinen. Way too small a sample size and far too many warning signs for me to waste a high pick on him. If you must take a goalie go Vanacek but I'd much rather go Lundell or even better a D man. Who else is there aside from Addison? You're D depth is not great.

EDIT: This is after Hintz and Driedger.

Nope. Young guys who are well on their way - and I agree with consensus Roope Hintz - beat out any of this year’s guys who someday hope to be that good.
