I was just offered Steven Stamkos and Jonathan Marchessault for Anze Kopitar, Bryan Rust, and Alex Barre-Boulet. Dynasty H2h points team and scoring in sig. this seems like a no brainer but I also have point and Kuch already. Thoughts?

Not gonna lie, don't know the cat difference between H and HT for your league.

    Last 4 seasons
    Player A:
    289GP, 91G, 173A, 264Pts, 203Hits, 223Blks, 609SOG, 5SHP, 162TK
    Player B:
    255GP, 118G, 1666A, 284Pts, 240Hits, 123Blks, 713SOG, 3SHP, 84TK

Stats are pretty similar between the 2 players based off of total numbers. But Player B has played less.

    G - Player B
    A - Player A
    Hits - Player B
    BLKs - Player A
    SOG - Player B
    SHP - Doesn't matter
    TK - Player A

Player A is Kopitar, Player B is Stamkos. I would still accept, but it's closer than people think because of the injuries Stamkos has racked up recently, where as Kopitar might get hurt, but it's not the same extent as Stamkos has had recently.

Kopitar is 3yrs older than Stamkos, but they put up pretty similar numbers. I think this trade is more dependent on what you are confident in. If Stamkos plays the same amount of games, he wins the side. But if he's hurt, are you confident enough to pick up someone on FA to replace the production? Do you have IR spots that can be eaten by a guy for 40% of the yr possibly?

H is usually hits, and HT is usually hat-tricks.

HT probably doesn't matter much then, but maybe one extra for Stamkos over the course of the season, which really might be enough to swing a week on it's own.

    Ok, thanks

I won't be switching with what I pointed out if it's Hat Tricks. But ya it's a close one.

I respectfully disagree that it is close and I would back that up by showing the last three instead of four years:

    Kopitar:
    207GP, 56G, 116A, 172Pts, 153Hits, 159Blks, 409SOG, 3SHP, 39TK

    Stamkos:
    177GP, 91G, 107A, 198Pts, 179Hits, 88Blks, 501SOG, 3SHP, 24TK

Kopitar had a really great 2017-2018 season but since then the gap has widened, almost 30 more points in 30 less GP for Stamkos. All of this is even before factoring in linemates for both players which goes without saying is a huge boost for Stamkos

For vets I go with 250gp min to a season total (not last 250gp, but 250gp min over full seasons), Just personal preference and tends to work out more, especially when you start looking at per week avg stats (3.5games/week)

    Yours (3 seasons):
    Kopitar: 0.95g, 1.96A, 2.59hits, 2.69blks, 0.66TK
    Stamkos: 1.80G, 2.12A, 3.54hits, 1.74blks, 0.47TK

    Mine (4 seasons):
    Kopitar: 1.1G, 2.09A, 2.46Hits, 2.70blks, 1.96TK
    Stamkos: 1.62G, 2.28A, 3.29hits, 1.69blks, 1.15TK

The real only difference in stats between the two are categories Kopitar was already losing. Now it changes if you think Stamkos is going to play 85% of the games Kopitar has too.

Yours (3seasons, 85% stats based off of health)
    Stamkos: 1.53G, 1.80, 3hits, 1.48blks, 0.4tk

    Mine (4seasons, 88% over the 4seasons)
    Stamkos: 1.43G, 2A, 2.90hits, 1.49blks, 1.01tk

My point is, if you start to go down a stats rabbit hole you can get lost. I get your side, I just typically have found success in a 250gp mark. Big thing is if you think Kopitar can stay healthier than Stamkos, and if he can't, can your team place Stamkos on IR and can you pick up a good replacement for Stamkos to fill in.
