I now have a vested interest in Eichel, having given up a fair amount to trade for him recently, banking on the situation being resolved...and his neck issue being dealt with...and that he can come back and be that superstar we all know he can be...a lot of risk on my part, but I went for it. Worst case, I've lost one high end prospect (Perfetti), one decent young player (Tolvanen), a 1st and 2nd round pick.

Thanks, I thought so too. Yeah, I have to weather the risk from the neck and team issues, but if he gets past that, I may have a 25 year old superstar...if the neck issue doesn't limit him. I can't imagine him going to a worse team situation, so I'm hoping for a trade of any sort.

i traded for him last year too, before his injury tho, didnt have to quite give as much as you did, but i'm with ya, def have a vested interest now. wish it would get resolved sooner rather than later

Players travel places during the offseason even for photoshoots.

Taylor Hall was at Peller Estates in Niagara this offseason looking at the venue for his wedding (My friends sister works there and saw him) and this was when he was a FA. He apparently travelled with his sticks because he was giving old sticks to buddies he's friends with in the area. Players travel, they bring stuff, it means little now.

For every time a player is found on a flight list (Hyman) and ends up signing there, there's 6 Eichel's and Hall's traveling for non-NHL reasons. Especially the southern Ontario, MTL areas during the summer.

I think at this point Eichel is out till January if he gets his surgery soon.

I think Eichel broke Buffalo and they are going to do the same thing that I do with my problems: ignore them, hoping they get solve by themselves
