either squeeze the lemon until more comes out or pegula doesnt care if things dont get done at the draft if the return isnt enough

Who knows if they are really dragging their feet, or teams know the price and arent willing to pay it. If I'm Kevyn Adams, I will have a price and will be holding it, or keeping Eichel. It would be that simple if I were in his shoes.

this is one trade you dont rush..only reason to rush it is to satisfy hunger of media and fans for big splash...i think there be more than picks to this, i think there be some solid players moving and if i was Buffalo i would want first in next 2 years as well specially if its from middle of the pack teams and i have a chance at lottery. So no rush, they will take their time as they should, explore all options before pulling the trigger.

According to Larry Brooks of the New York Post, the Buffalo Sabres ask on a return for star centre Jack Eichel "remain fantastical" as of early Friday morning.

As speculation re Eichel mounts, can tell you that Rangers have still not received access to his medical records from Sabres. So, there is nothing close at this point.

i guess the Ducks are still in the mix, also a dark horse somewhere in the East

Dreger - The #FlyTogether I think are still in the mix for Eichel. I believe there's a team out there that's going to surprise all of us with a potential Jack Eichel trade. It's still a big "if". The team is in the East. #LetsGoBuffalo As for Eichel, there was a source in New York that believed there's still a slim chance he could be heading to the #NYR. Nothing new regarding the #MNWild. #LetsGoBuffalo

Man this has dragged. But dragging it out worked with Duchene. We shall see if it works out.

But it sounds like NYR, Minny, and the other teams are willing the play chicken with Buffalo right now.

I think Vegas has 12mill in space, but have also been in deep discussions with Martinez and I think I've heard that he wants 5.5mill/4yrs (something like that) and Vegas is comfortable with that.

So they have 12mill to sign a backup goalie, 2 dmen, 2 forwards. But they are more than comfortable to play down men on their NHL roster. Should be interesting what they do.

i think the Martinez deal is gonna be like 3x$5M. But eichel will be hard to resist. Shiny new toy

The assumption would be that the Martinez contract is offset by trading Tuch for Eichel.

Really? Lehner, Theodore, Tuch, Krebs, Morozov, Brisson, Whitecloud, Patrick and the only round they don’t have a pick in for the next three drafts is the 4th in 2022. I’d say that’s a good start…
