I was expecting a better output from VGK last night with Fluery back in the net and Stephenson back.
I would think it's Lehner based on just how well he did in Game 4. Big reason they won that game. I say he earned the shot. I wouldn't be surprised either if it's Fluery.

HHMMM....is it possible that Vegas and the Aves just aren't as good as everyone including me seems to think. They WERE in a division with the Yotes, Kings, Sharks and Ducks which is pretty easy competition...easier than the division the Habs were in I guess....hate to say it but maybe the Habs are better than anyone but their most ardent fans thought.

North Division was the most deep division in the league. To think if Ottawa got goaltending for like a 10 game stretch, they wouldn't be last in the division. So ya, the story that the North Division was weak was always a lie to me. However, the story that Vegas and Avs were dominant I thought was a thing.

Now, Avs/Vegas series was ridiculously fun, and we'll always wonder if the Avs had enough speed to break down that stringent MTL D.

I hope MTL closes it out tonight, even as a Leaf fan.

What other division would you think had 7(8) teams in it as strong as the North?

I don't think Vancouver and Calgary were strong.
