I love it. Nothing but tears from people because Tampa Bay worked over the system. Good management find loopholes time and time again.

Broken system is broken no matter who worked it over.
Don't think your TBL are anything special for lucking into that at the scale it has. There's much better Points about Tampa Bay for them to be commended for.

They are not my team. I cheer for the lousy Oilers. I just have a lot of respect for the Lightning and think they are a model franchise and have been for a years now. Just because they understand the rules and how to build the best team possible within them is not their fault. Does the system need to be reworked? Sure, but that's not Tampa Bay's fault. This isn't tiny tots hockey. It's a professional sports league with hundreds of millions of dollars involved. If you are not doing everything in your power to legally work the system then you're not doing your job. It's like playoff reffing. You know going in that the game is entirely different. If you don't build a roster that is going to play on the edge and take liberties in the playoffs then you're not doing your job either.

I never once blamed them for doing it.

Ya.. when they first started cutting down on head shots and that years back, I wasn't with it at first and these calls would frustrate me. I stopped watching for awhile. But I got older and learned more and came back to a faster more skilled game and that was great. Players now live better quality lives afterwards.
