    NYI got spanked.

I don't agree with what Barzal did, but man a LOT gets looked the other way for the exact same thing he did but the player doesn't drop.

I think a big penalty fix would be preventative penalties vs reactive penalties (crosschecking someone high is a penalty, not crosschecking someone high only if he's hurt is a penalty). You penalize all high crosschecks like Barzal and that eliminates a lot of issues. Ya it'll be annoying at first, but players will learn.

    my god what a bloodbath

i offered kucherov stamkos and grubauer for mcjesus in my limited keeper league (theres also a time limit on keepers) and i am seriously considering pulling my offer lol. on the other hand, i dont think this couldve gone better if i was going to sell kucherov/stamkos high
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

Anyone of those guys would have definitely deserved it. I thought the man in Montreal would have won it. You can see all his moves paying off live. But good on Lou for 2.

a few weeks ago I was slightly surprised that lou was nominated so to actually win it over Zito is a head scratcher .

I read somewhere that the voting occurs after round 2 so recency bias certainly plays a part in the voters mind .

Oh is that so? I was assuming it was after season like the rest so Bergevin didn't make a lot of sense as to why he got so many votes (most 1st place votes). If it's after two rounds than ya now you've gotten to see his moves start paying off. Florida could of had a deep playoff run if not for having to play a misplaced TBL team.

I actually went to a patio last night and was watching until mid way through the 3rd. Went home. Hung out with the wife and dog. Just assumed Tampa won haha.

Until a friend texted me "Game 7".

Who would of thought going into the series knowing Tampa would score 10 straight goals, but the series would go to game 7 with a game 6 NYI win.

I don't think NYI win this if the team wasn't at home. That crowd pulled them to victory, they were nuts.

There were times in this game where I thought "no way Isles come back and pull this off, series is done". Then they went ahead and confirmed my own stupidity. These guys are gritty and a hard nosed no nonsense bunch of players. Credit to them and I'm cheering for them in TB. Good luck. wow

Also, Bull crap that cross check on Kucherov...The league has an issue that they continue to ignore.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the league won't care about the dumb stance on crosschecks until a star is hurt. They need to start actually policing the game.

I have never understood how pushing a player with your stick is fine to crosschecking someone fully 8 times is fine.

I know, and right in front of a zebra too. Pathetic that reffing is taking away from a very good playoffs.

I don't care so much which of these two teams wins the series, but I really hope they win the Cup!

I've been complaining about the amount of cross-checking that goes uncalled for quite some time now. Yet another example.

How can Chris Lee be specifically biased against Montreal if he's just as bad in all his other games as well? Quite the conundrum.
