    Default Seguin next year?

What’s Seguin going to do next year? Is he worth keeping ahead of guys like Kuznetsov, Krug, Voracek, Bergeron in points only dynasty? Odds he gets back to 75+ points pace?
Im interested to hear some takes on this, Im sure it will be all over the map. Apologies if this thread has already happened.

I don't like his chances of getting back to 75 mainly because he's on a defense-first team that doesn't have the wingers to score to help Seguin's points total. Plus, he's coming off the absence on a labrum, which is not a great injury from which to come back. That being said, he's in front of Voracek, maybe akin to Krug and Kuznetsov. As to Bergeron, if you're contending for the title next year, I'd be tempted to keep him as he seems likely to outperform Seguin in the short-term.

I think Seguin gets between 60-70 points. 20G and plenty of PP1 time, which should out perform Voracek. Bergeron is 35 and has missed an average of 20 games the last 3 full years. He plays on a potent line but I’ll say Seguin out points him. IF (big IF) Bergeron plays a full season then all bets are off. But even then Seguin is 5 yrs younger. Kuznetsov is the wild card. Seems as tho he was in the doghouse plus Covid problems made it hard for him to have any flow this year. So for me I would keep Seguin ahead of all 3 but it’s not that easy. I like his chances especially after missing a whole year,he’ll be ready to go. Depending on how good your D is, ahead of Krug also. Good luck.

Tyler Seguin can go back to what he was. Happened to Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar. I feel a healthy season, determined, and playing with a chip on his shoulder, to prove he is still that player. Safe bet has him at 60 points, but a 40 goal, 80 point season is still doable. Just depends which Tyler shows up.

I made a similar thread a few months ago albeit my considerations werent for points-only.

    https://forums.dobbersports.com/show...ghlight=seguin

I definitely think he can get back to his ppg-ish ways with high SOGs as an injured Roope Hintz was above ppg this season on this team. Hes only 29 and looked just fine in his 3 games back. Now he has a full 5 months to rehab and strengthen.

Id keep Seguin from your list.

I would also keep Seguin over the other forwards you have listed. It would help if we knew your keepers, league set up etc., Krug may be a better keep for you depending on what the rest of your team looks like?

Knowing that he's a keeper for you guys ahead of those forwards is good enough, I can probably find room for Krug to keep anyway, but knowing he's valued right around that level is helpful.
Thanks fellas, good to have an idea that people expect a strong comeback.
