    Hello all,

an interesting offer came my way looking for a little feedback,

with the settings above, i have pretty good depth on D, although hamilton is my stud, i was offered the following

Konepcky, Krug and a 1st for hamilton, the first is pick 11, he also has pick 8 .

Just wondering which Krug shows up next year the first half disappointing Krug or the second half? did it take him a while to get used to the systems?

    thanks in advance

Should also add Dmen are gold in this pool and very hard to acquire

W- Draistl, Pacioretty, Rust, Kessel, Brown, Oshie
D-Hamilton, Jones , Nurse, Spurgeon, OEL, Slavin, Pk Subban, Mike Reilly
    G- Bobrovsky, Lehner, Hart

    Minors
Rossi, White, Zegras, Bunting, Mangiapane, Tracey, Wiesblatt, Addison, Coghlan, Holl, Johansson, Myers, Soucy, Spence, Thompson, Blomqvist, Dostal, Hofer, Ingram, Johannsson, Luukkonen, Hunter, Sogaard, Tarasov, Tokarski

    I would keep Hamilton.
I havent played in full keeper with prospects that deep but to me that sounds like the pick isnt worth a ton.
Konecny is a buy low perhaps but doesnt make up the difference between Krug and Hamilton in my opinion. Who would you drop to roster him?

that is much more than anybody offered me for Hamilton lol...i think its good offer as good as Dougie is you getting two good pieces back. I think it depends on who you need to drop to make room and all that.

thanks for feedback, the drop is insignificant as i have a couple spots i leave open for streaming, so nothing major... someone like a Brown . Draft picks worth a bit guys like prospects when you have a farm team of 20 lol, that being said, Dman are gold in the pool so i think the deal is fair but so undecided

I'd keep Hamilton. While Krug is good and likely to do better next year, the STL power play just isn't the same as what Krug had in Boston. And in a full keeper, you're getting the older defenseman. If you're going to turn an in-his-prime Hamilton into something, the best piece you're getting back should be better than a d-man in his 30s, in decline, on a team in decline, whose only substantial contribution is his PP time.

I'd really like to see what your team actually looks, that would help us provide the best answer. Can you afford to part with Hamilton, how much will the pieces coming back help you?? We really need more info here. I'm inclined tos ay pass on this but lets have a closer look. However, right up front, and without that other key information, I want that 11th overall upgraded to his 8th, or no deal.

I would hold on Hamilton with your scoring system... You also have Rossi and Zegras coming up , but nothing compared to those 2 on your backend... Stick with Hammy and be very very happy

If Dman are gold then you already have a golden boy. I'd stick with Hamilton.

So: "Can you afford to part with Hamilton, how much will the pieces coming back help you??"

Answer: I don't think so and, not nearly enough.

IMO this is a quantity for quality offer. Hamilton is the best player in this deal and arguably by a considerable margin. Unless the return is clearly to your advantage, the team trading the best player usually loses the trade. I would recommend a pass here.

It's not quite enough, but it's not brutal either. If this is their first offer, why not counter with asking for the 8th, someone better than Konecny, their top prospect added in, or something like that?

I’d keep Hamilton here, even though it’s a pretty good offer.
