Also - the key to this series is Price/Hellebucyk. That’s it. Can Hellebucyk stand tall while the speedy Habs turnstyle the Jets thin D corps and can Carey Price stand tall against a deeper but less dynamic F group. That’s where this series begins and ends.

Jesus that was a brutal hit. Evans was out cold before he hit the ice. Scheiefele might be getting a little in series break, but with the NHL Wheel of Justice, who knows what's suspendable. Would not shock me if he gets a fine, while Evans might end up with a career ending concussion. Seems fair to me.

I love Scheifele but that was so dangerous!! He seems frustrated all game long ... No doubt for me, that hit deserve a suspension.

Good grief Scheifele. I'd suspend him for the rest of the series. I don't think he has the track record to warrant it, nor does the DoPS have much teeth for first time offenders, but the hit itself does. You can't make such an obviously malicious play and see the ice against that opponent again.

Terrible judgement by Scheifele, he doesn't have the history that Kadri does but he should be getting close to the same suspension.

Really feel for Evans, he's going to be in a world of hurt for quite a while.

Hunter got 21 games (Bettman’s first suspension as commissioner) for his post goal hit on Turgeon. This was worse. He deserves about that.
