Default Rank these up and comers please

With scoring cats GAA, save %, and Wins, how would you rank for who will fair best in those cats? I'm not fussed about time for arrival or time until fantasy relevant. I do care about team context...

    C. Primeau
    K. Kahkonen
    Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
    Y. Askarov
    S. Knight
    A. Nedeljkovic

    Thank you

i think some marks have to be given for arrival time and NHL experience as well as the team....so base don that, here is my rankings:

    2. Knight
    ...
    3. Nedeljkovic
    ...
    4. UPL
    5. Kahkonen

    *?*. Primeau

Recent draft of Askarov top 10 and Knight 1st round is enough to warrant a high-level pedigree.
I know Nedel had a huge year... and is running for CAR right now... but that team is built as solidly as it can be.
The D is good - but about to probably lose one guy... and when they have to shell out the bigger contracts, team value will decrease.
Both Mrazek and Reimer have put up great numbers.
Ned has played well, but it has been "without pressure" - since the #2 or #3 goalie isn't expected to shine.
Once he's #1 and expected to play like a #1... we'll see how he does.

Kahkonen is pretty solid... but even he stumbled (like Lankinen) with extended play this year.

UPL hasn't shown good numbers yet at either AHL or NHL level... though the BUF defense systems at both levels has been close to trash.
This said, BUF (for as bad as they are) does have a stock-pile of young assets.
Eventually, they will rise... they may get a top5 player this year and one of next year's Uber3.
BOS, PIT, WAS... there's lots of aging teams in the East. Buffalo and Ottawa are going to be top5 teams in the East in 5years when UPL has hit stride.
So he's still an outlier to have best "team upside" of this list, IMO.

*Honestly, I don't have enough exposure to Primeau's play to rank him.

If I own Nedelkjovic... and could flip him straight up for either Knight or Askarov right now (based on his recent play)...
    I'm DEFINITELY doing that.

I agree with this. I LOVE that Nedj succeeding but lets not forget he was very pedestrian in the A this year and was even waived with no claimants. His success is great but people are skimming iver the ugly details of the story...

Not surprisingly I think Pegwin and Axe have this right. However, don't be surprised if this all goes sideways in two or three years, with goalies you just never know (:

this is exactly why i ranked them based on what i see in NHL.....took 6 years to get samsonov and Igor here ..i think it will be less for Askarov but do we know for sure? nope...we do know Khakkonen and Nedelj already played and played at relatively high level..

#1 Askarov -Can't find the article on it, but Askarov, taking advanced stats into consideration, is basically one of the best goalies in last 20 years at this stage in his career, the closet comparable would be Price and Vasilevski. Yes goalies are voodoo, yes he's still at least a year away from any NHL action, but in terms of sheer, raw potential, Askarov wins hands down. Maybe he goes the way of Andrew Raycroft, but he does have the potential to be a top 3 goalie, multiple Vezina winner in his prime.
    ...
    ...
    ...
#2/3 Knight/Nedeljkovic -think it's pretty even between two, Bob's horrendous contract does hurt Knight however.
    ...
#4 Kahkoen -Honestly, only reason 4/5 aren't switched is the team, Minny looks like they could have an extremely solid, well built team for the next 5+ years, + Parise/Suter contracts coming off in a few years should be able to keep core.
#5 Primeau -If not for the Allen signing, could see him backing up Price already, solid goalie, solid starter potentially, don't see franchise or elite top10 in him though..
#6UPL -Buffalo is a god damn tire-fire, UPL may be a good goalie but I'd be damned to own him being in that franchise.

This is just for how good the goalies likely project to be on the respective teams they are on, doesn't give consideration arrival time or if they are traded. UPL would maybe be higher if not on tire-fire that is Buffalo for instance.
