Am I missing something? Trade 2 looks like an easy accept.

I'd only consider the first deal if you take Rask. The second, if you can give up that offence, is a pretty good deal, however I don't have a whole lot of faith in Werenksi as a high-end fantasy player if he's staying in Columbus.

Trade #2. Wheeler is not getting any younger. You have the C depth. Guentzel is nice but you will have the top 2 G in the NHL IMO. Werenski allows some flexibility to deal a Dman and shore up your loss of Guentzel. If I were to make a deal it would be #2. Too much uncertainty with Rask and Freddy. Good luck

This was my thinking as well. Wheeler is slowing down so I would move him now. Guentzel is nice but he's a player I have no trouble moving. With Crosby and Malkin getting older, Pitt's wingers might suffer. And Hellebuyck is just a damn good goalie- top 5 in the league. And I think Werenski is a little underrated and a good buy low candidate especially if they get a more offensive-minded coach in Columbus. I think this is a slam dunk especially if getting goalies is as hard as it is in my leagues.

You are in a 14 team, one goalie league and you already have Vasilevsky. Why are you looking to trade high end pieces for another goalie? Am I missing something? Is this a daily starts league?

Gluttony. That and the chance to acquire one of the best without giving up very much.

to me first deal is absolute steal...

second deal you gain top 3 goalie..you give up some offense but still worth it..i would probably do deal 1 first as you just give up much less....specially if Barrie does not stay in Edmonton

i understand why most say deal 2 ...cause you get much better goalie but deal one is much better value wise imo

i would take #1, and call me nuts but im taking Andersen.

1 of two things will happen. either he gets back to the net in TOR and comes back to the guy he was, or 2, gets trade and shines somewhere else.

you have Vasy, theres no need to trade away Guentzel here...

So thanks for the advice people. After thinking it through I saved myself Barrie/Guentzel/Wheeler and ended up dealing Yamamoto for Rask.
