WHL: Teams (3) Available (24-Team Fantrax with All Dobber Forum Members)

The glorious WHL has (edit*) three openings available for next season's Season 7.
We are looking to fill this position between May24-June15.
This 24-team league is run on Fantrax with a $25 yearly cost... but the true reward is bragging rights.
The league is completely made up of Dobber forum members, and here's the group (with forum names in brackets), via last year's standings:

The teams needing new owners are the Braham Pietasters, Tampere Polar-Bears, and the Markham Waxers.

The team has several other very solid prospects including: Connor Zary, Mavrik Bourque, Carter Savoie, Yegor Chinakhov, Liam Foudy, Iskhakov, Mysak, Sourdif, Niederback, M.Phillips, Wisdom, Blichfeld.
The team also owns three first round picks and two second round picks.

Keen GMs have been able to quickly build their team into a contender.
metaldude26 joined the league in s3, and built his team from last over his first two years to the league's best team this year.
EskimoBro joined the league just this past summer (s6), and took a 3rd/4th last team to playoffs (8th), coming within a last-second rally of the Championship match.

The league uses a $100.000m cap for the 25player "PRO" team which rosters 3C/3LW/3RW/3F/6D/1G with a daily roster. There are also 6 bench positions.
Teams have 15 available prospect spots for players age 25 or younger with less than 100gp (skaters) / 40gp (goalies).

The 40-player roster reduces to a Keep30 every summer, followed by a 5-round prospect draft in July and a 5-round PRO re-draft in September.
The regular season typically has 23 weekly H2H matches, once against each opponent.

The top 8 teams play for the championship ($200 and bragging rights), with $50 to the runner-up.
There are prizes for most points ($45), regular season first $150, second $50, and third $25.
$80 goes to Fantrax yearly. This totals to the $600 paid-in by the 24 teams x $25.

The Braham Pietasters GM (glorybe23) keeps an absolute fantastic LeagueHistory with banners & point systems for GM success. We will surely have to find somebody to continue those graphics!
And the Fresno Firebirds GM (Pit Bulls) keeps a league records book of the all time daily, weekly, and seasonal successes and... ahem... failures!!!

It's a points-league, with G=1, A=1, PPP=0.5, and 0.05 for several stats like Hit, Blk, SOG, PIM.
Goalies score points with W=2, SO=3, and SV=0.1. Goals against are -1.
GMs name their teams with a location and nickname they choose.

They must be a long-time Dobber forum member (2+ years, 500+ posts) with a good reputation among the existing league GMs.

The heart & soul of the WHL are the 24-GMs... very solid guys - who make the league super enjoyable!

Did you say Caufield is available?!?!?! ... I’ll get my summer break consultant to draft an offer (EB... can you draft me something up fir Dryden?).

To potential team applicants, remains the best league bar none that I’ve been a part of. And my team has test driven top 4, bottom 4 and 4 seasons in the mid range of the standings. In all spots... still best league.

We even have our own insider (who I see is trying to get a little more “inside”)
