I would hold on to Huberdeau in your situation. The age factor for Crosby and the uncertainty of where Barrie swings it in favour of Huberdeau in his prime IMO.
Thoughts? I’d be trading Huberdeau.
League 2 (dynasty) in my signature.
Seems like a good offer, but my hesitation is that I’m going through a bit of a rebuild and trying to keep my team on the younger side since I’m not ready to be super competitive just yet.
Crosby and Huberdeau were very similar in their multi-cat stats this year, but Huberdeau is 6 years younger. Barrie would help my D a fair bit. How many more elite years does Crosby have in the tank? Can I expect at least 3 more?

If you were ready to compete for a title then this deal would definitely help. But the uncertainty of where Barrie plays is the big factor here. Yes Crosby is still producing but for how many years? Even if he plays another 3-4 years will he out perform Huberdeau? I wouldn't think so but adding Barrie would make it worth it if you are going for it. So YES to the deal if you are super competing and Barrie stays in Edmonton, NO if your team isn't ready and the unknown with Barrie.
Good luck

In a keep 8, I'd keep what you have. You have to also factor who you would NOT be keeping now (Werenski I'm guessing?) into the trade.

As is often the case, your near future circumstances are a factor here. Simply put, if your in a win now situation then I like this trade. However, if you are rebuilding the trade is a little less desirable. That said, if Sid can maintain his game for the next two or three years and Barrie continues to be a top tier offensive defencemen over the next few years, which is indeed very possible, then this is still a trade worth considering looking at what it might do for you in the next two seasons. We don't know what your team actually looks like so it's hard to say if you would be competitive or not.
