That Tampa juggernaut includes Kucherov tonight.

    RotoWire..May 24, 2021
"Kucherov (knee) will be in the lineup against Florida on Monday, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.
    ANALYSIS
Kucherov is riding a four-game point streak since making his 2020-21 debut in Game 1, including his four-point performance in Game 4. The world-class winger should continue to feature on the top power-play unit and figures to provide elite fantasy production."

The intensity difference between the Leafs/Habs, Oilers/Jets and the other series like the Florida fight and Bruins/Caps and even Isles/Pens is amazing. The hitting alone just seems punishing. The speed is unreal and hard to keep up with at times. Just seems the Leafs are having a harder time than they should with a really bad Habs team. Jets are hitting their stride but can the North winner withstand the crazy pressure of the other division winners? It's like I'm watching 2 different leagues. Great playoffs tho.

Of course. They played in the same division all year and never saw anything different. Pretty much is a different league

Now that the Leafs are out, who the hell are the commentators on the HNIC Panel going to tout? They only seem to know and talk about the Leafs so now what?

Who are we kidding... they are still going to talk about the Leafs?

If the Jets are beating the Canadiens... they will show what the Jets are doing that the Leafs didn't do.

If the Canadiens are winning, they will draw comparisons to what the Jets are doing that is the same as the Leafs.

LOL! Ya, my question was somewhat rhetorical.

    The bracket is finalized now.

Since Colorado and Vegas are two highest points totals

and Montreal and Winnipeg are the two Lowest points totals.

therefore the winners of those series are guaranteed to play each other.

    Tampa/Carolina Winner plays Boston/NYI winner

So you're saying that we could have a Montreal-Boston Stanley Cup Final!? That would be original six awesome (but super unlikely).

Last original 6 finals was 2013 - Chi v Bos. Before that you have to go back to the 70s.

Colorado got lucky winning that game. They probably had a little bit of a letdown after the game 1 blowout while Vegas came back well-rested, hungry, and embarrassed. Wouldn't have minded Vegas winning to ensure a long series.

On a side note, Colorado coach Bednar has inspired me to get my hair cut. The pandemic-induced, long hair, 90s-style look is not good for someone in their 40s. I'm off to the barber.

Moving on to the TBL - CAR game tonight... the weird thing is that it’s Tampa that I see having a bounce-back, coming off the lowest shot total they’ve had in 2 years. I’d lay my nickel on Tampa by 3 goals tonight.

    Thoughts?
