I expected it to be MAF. But I haven't be following the goalie situation all that close.

Now the question becomes what happens for game 2? Do they go with Fleury again or alternate like this did when healthy during season ?

This was an awesome game from both goalies. Both stood on their head. All the online talk was about MAF but Talbot was equal to the task and one better.

I would say Talbot was more than one better. Talbot saved 42 shots total. Very impressive.

If we are talking about the power of one - wouldn't it be that MAF was one worse cause he gave up one and Talbot didn't.

im expecting MAF to play game 2. While i dont expect Lehner's agent to come with a sword-in-back social media post, he should be more than aware fleury took a backseat to him last season so he'll do the same this season as its best for the team

i do hope they amicably move flower next season tho. 12m of cap space in goalies alone is not optimal.
