Bold 2021 Playoff Predictions

Let’s get bold.

- Vegas and Colorado both get upset in the first round.

- Mike Smith gets injured early and Koskiken sinks the Oilers with his terrible goaltending against the Jets. More than 50 goals are scored in that series.

- The Florida Panthers win the South thanks to the Bennett / Huberdeau connection.

- Bryan Rust is the Conn Smythe trophy winner because he scores 8 game winning goals, as the Pens win a final Cup during the Crosby / Malkin era.

Winnipeg will defeat Edmonton and then Toronto to represent the North Division in the final four.

NYI will grind through Pittsburgh and then Washington to represent the East.

Marc-Andre Fleury will win the Conn Smyth to go along with his fourth Stanley Cup.

1.) No major upsets happen (Vegas beating Avs isn't an upset)
2.) The Leafs starting lineup game 1 is different game 4 (outside of goalie, because that's too easy)
3.) DoPS is involved in the first round with a hit that the public thinks should be a suspension but is left with just a $5,000 fine.
4.) Rinne plays a few minutes in the final game as a fair well.

Bennet has a hearing on his HFB but McDonagh is fine.

Edmonton's season average was 3.25
Winnipegs season average was 3.02
So that's an average of the two teams combined of 6.27 for the regular season

I've got Colorado taking it over TB and Nate bringing the Cup back to Halifax again.

Not overly bold but thats my prediction.
