Surprsingly, I wasnt referring to anyone here on the forums, although it's funny you came in as I started to talk bad about the Habs LOL!

I have a couple very close friends Im in the Navy with who do a Habs podcast and I am chirping them all the time on twitter. They were the first who came to mind (neither are members here that I know of) if I am being completely honest. There's lots of others on Twitter that are, well, twits.

Yeah - I'm just giving you a hard time. I am not one of those fans that thinks this team is perfect. Far from it. Not only do the Habs have some serious talent issues they have some serious management issues. We're going into game 1 of the playoffs with Staal in over Kotkaniemi or Caufield. Here we go again with slow footed non-creative "experience" over youth, creativity and speed.

You'd think Claude Julien was still the Head Coach LOL!

I don't agree with the thought of Staal in the lineup, but it apparently is for not getting a young player caught in the defensive zone vs Matthews since Toronto has last change. I get the reasoning, but I don't think I would do it.

It's playing not to lose vs. playing to win. A Habs coaching staple.

Your buddies are the first ones that came to my mind, lol. I've seen your debates on Twitter. There's been a couple of Habs fans that I stopped following because everything was perfectly rosy in their world and the Habs could do no wrong. Every draft pick was the best, every trade the Habs won, every free agent signing was optimal, every playoff loss is character building, etc. I'm all for optimism, but it's too over the top.

I find most Habs fans on Twitter are in one of two camps: Everything is awesome or everything sucks (I'm more of the latter). There's not a lot of middle ground there.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

Yes, there's a lot of Habs fans who are extremely cynical too. They aren't as annoying to the ones who think the Habs walk on water. I find those Habs fans are the ones who hare the cynical ones. I usually sit back and enjoy that show more than get involved.

I hope this game 1 is half as good as cats vs bolts game 1. I want to see a very physical game and see how the leafs top 4 handle the punishment. Imagine if the Habs win game 1.....

If you want chaos, the best thing would be for the Habs to blow out Toronto in game 1. The debate over whether to start Andersen in game 2, the "here we go again" mood from Leafs fans, the Habs fans being way too cocky, etc.

LOL! That would be interesting, especially for the fools on the Toronto Sports Network and Sportsnet trying to figure it out and overanalyzing it.

I think it's pretty mean to hope for a game 1 blowout for us Leaf fans. Haven't we endured enough?

    Also Leafs Lines:
    Hyman - Matthews - Marner
    Foligno - JT - Nylander
    Mikheyev - Nash - Kerfoot
    Thornton - Spezza - Simmonds

    Rielly - Brodie
    Muzzin - Holl
    Sandin - Dermott/Bogosian

Then seems like they'll be using a balanced PP.
    Hyman - Thornton - Matthews - Marner
    Rielly/Sandin

    Simmonds - JT - Nylander - Spezza
