So the Jets need to do the exact opposite of what they did all season against the Oilers!

I optimistically put Oilers in 6, but the playoffs are an entirely different game, with different rules, and different strategies. A lot more clutch and grab is allowed, which is to the benefit of the Jets. If Ehlers returns it could be just enough to tip the scales as well.

Not going to overthink this one. Jet's stand slim chance unless Ehlers returns. Edm in 6.

Oilers in 7, but the Jets roster does scare me, especially that HelleB goalie dude.

Not that the Oilers have looked perfect, but there were some real rough stretches for the Jets this year and I just haven’t seen them as a team that can make any real noise in the playoffs. Getting Ehlers back would be a huge boost, but considering the talent in their top 6 I’m just...not that scared of them? They seem to get rattled very easily and despite Helle’s best efforts I don’t think they can contain McDrai. Oilers in 6

Turns out I'm with the consensus on this one at Oilers in 6. I would rather see the Jets win, but I think McDavid is going to lead this team out of the division this year

The game was really tight in the first period. Neither team looked comfortable. The Oilers played much better in the 2nd but couldnt bury their good chances. All it takes some times is one tip, and that's the way this game played out. The Jets got the tip. Two empty netters made the score look worse than it was. Not a great game to watch if I am being honest, even if it was the Oilers who got the tip in for the win.

Prolly due to the break between the regular season and playoffs. Guys typically seem to be tense and not on their game when there's that big break between rounds, maybe that's what happened.

Connor stole one in that game. Hopefully Connor can step it up and get some more breaks in the second game. Can't go letting Connor beat him again like that.
