NYI looked pretty good last playoffs when they were dialed in. I think they can shut down Pitt with some low event hockey. I also don’t love Jarry, while the Islanders have a Vezina caliber goalie behind them. Isles in 6.
Pens is 6, but man, the Isles could surprise.

I'll take the Pens here, Islanders have fell off a bit late in the season and the Penguins are getting close to their last kicks at the can. They'll be motivated
Without me, it's only "aweso".
I think there will be moments where it seems like the isles system is working but it will eventually come apart . They were like a well oiled machine during a good stretch of the season but that has fallen apart down the stretch . I think teams have figured something out to stifle their puck movement because execution has been poor .

The Isles are a strong team but the Pens have played excellent and sound hockey since basically February. I might be biased (I own several Pens in my league), but I see them winning the East and consider them a sneaky pick to win the Cup. They have a full lineup, their depth is underrated, Jarry + DeSmith may not be elite but they’re solid, and you can never count Crosby out.
Pens in 6 but it will be close
Late entry but in my NHL Bracket Challenge I went with NYI in 6.
What a great pick up Jeff Carter has been for the Pens. Guy can still snipe.

Sirokin having a great game. (I hope I didn’t just jinx him)

Jarry pulled a 'worse than samsonov'. ouch.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
I feel bad for Jarry but Sorokin deserved to win that game. Maybe not in that fashion but he deserved that win.

Islanders are doing what they do best. I still think Boston takes the winner but Nyi doesn't make anything easy.
