It almost happened in 1988. Five-game series, Edmonton won four, but game 4 was suspended due to a power failure and had to be replayed. It was tied when the power went out, but imagine if Edmonton was up 4-3. They were one goal away from a five-game sweep.

In all, I agree Svech should be higher up in the lineup, but I don't think it's a huge deal that he isn't. Only time will tell though

Well, good news. SAT line was reunited in the second period. JStaal scored 2 goals after Svech was removed from his line lol.

I do believe they'll stick with this lineup configuration for most of their playoff run. for next season, svech will either be on a bridge/long-term deal so i really hope hes on the SAT line all year

I'll be honest, I was surprised to see Nedeljkovic starting for the Canes over Mrazek last night. He's come a long ways from getting waived (and passing through) earlier this year.

Ned starting is a pretty good sign where the Canes plan on going with their goaltending. Mrazek/Reimer are UFAs

Huge sleeper potential for Ned next season. i imagine theyll bring a veteran backup in, hopefully an inexpensive one.
