I agree with this, however, I think Addison could be ahead of Perunovich. He’s looking good in the A, and I think he’s one of the most underrated D prospects out there.
12 teams. Keep 9 any position.
7 prospects. D scoring 3.75 for goal, 2.75 for assist. Forwards 3.5 for goal, 2.5 for assist. 0.5 for hits and blocks. Goalie scoring -1.5 GA, 0.3 for save, 2 points for win and extra 2 for shutout.

    Pre Draft

F: Keller, Zegras, Suzuki, Caufield, Cozens

    D: Drysdale, Guhle, Perunovich

    G:

    IR:

Prospects: W. Johnston, K. Johnson, Guenther, Morrow, Mateychuk

What a single disappointing season can do to a player’s rep. Broberg was all the shit a year ago. It’ll take being traded now?? Barrie, Bouchard, Bear all ahead of him on the depth chart - - - and those are just the ones that start with “B”
CONDORS, 2022-23 league champions, Reg Dunlop Mem Cup

12-team, H2H. Keep 12, but drop 2 of top four skaters, and also 2 of next six, then five more (from end-of-year rankings). One GK max.

    Stutzle, Sergachev
    Keller, Doughty, Verhaeghe, ErikssonEk
    E.Lindholm, Barzal, J.Gaudreau, Huberdeau, S. Wright

Yeah, he’s buried. Even without that fact, I think he belongs on the bottom of the list.

Those 3 are all right hand shots. Broberg is a left hand shot. Two completely different depth charts.

    Calen Addison
    Scott Perunovich
    Philip Broberg
    Cal Foote

Interesting perspectives here. These are my farm team Dmen and I can keep 3.

Was planning on keeping Perunovich, Addison, and Merkley.

Looks like I should be reconsidering the Merkley choice - perhaps Foote instead.

I’m also an Oilers fan that’s why Broberg is also in the mix

I don’t see him getting past Nurse on the left side of the depth chart, and all those Oilers mentioned will be ahead of Broberg for PP time. To me that makes him bottom of the list. Just my opinion.

Funny thing is Merkley, I would argue has the highest offensive potential of the bunch. Biggest boom or bust too. I’m open to you being right about Broberg as you being an Oilers fan would pay more attention to him.

I don't think any of the listed dmen see PP1 time in the next 3 years.

Addison is behind Suter, Spurgeon, Dumba, Brodin.
Perunovich is behind Krug, Parayko, Faulk, Dunn
Foote is behind Hedman, Sergachev, McDonagh
Merkley is behind Burns, Karlsson, Ferraro

I would be surprised if any of these dmen had even 30 points in a season prior to 2024/25.

I think Broberg could be the farthest out of 5 from being relevant in fantasy, so I don’t think I’m looking at keeping him.

I think he might end up being a better real-life NHLer than fantasy value also. He’s in my plans to re-draft potentially though if I can.

Nothing funny. It has been well known for years Ryan Merkley has outstanding offensive upside and few beat him in that category. Unfortunately for him he's a major risk due to his mental health. Nobody is sure how that will effect his growth and development going forward. The talent and upside was and is clearly there.

Ryan Merkeley could very well be Tony DeAngelo 2.0. Lots of skill but I'm not touching him if there's other options who are equally available.
