No, not Elliotte Friedman, Mark Friedman of the Pens. When I watched that play, I had visions of Dale Hunter doing that to Pierre Turgeon in the 1993 playoffs, although the Hunter-Turgeon incident was significantly worse. Turgeon suffered a concussion and shoulder injury, while Hunter was suspended for 21 games. Those late hits on an unsuspecting opponent are brutal and should be severely punished. Gostisbehere is lucky that Friedman wasn't hurt, otherwise, I suspect he would be suspended for much longer.

I like this discipline because its wrong to take a shot at someone just because they scored a goal. Childish response when the player that takes the shot is also trying to score goals. They should give 2 minute to all payback cheap shots after goals are scored.
