Not sure but wasn’t Kap playing with Malkin before malkins ubi? If I were to choose a penguin then in order:
Kap
Mac
Carter
Just going with pure talent. Rather go vs Buf than Ana. Good luck.
Our season ends on Sunday. I'm in the finals, tied 4-4, and have only one move left. I'm thinking of dropping Hyman since the most I can get from him is 1 more game even if he's healthy. And I'll move Barzal to IR while I still can. But I can get 2 games out of PIT vs. BUF which seems like a good play. So which available Pen do I grab? McCann, Carter and Kapanen all have virtually the same stats and are all playing together, even on PP2. Who would you choose? Position doesn't really matter much. Scoring cats below.
Or... I could get 2 games vs. ANA out of Ek, but I think I'm better off with one of these Pens, right?
Will rep. Thanks!

McCann would be my vote, then Kap, then Carter.

Based on position, Jared McCann, based on the hot hand, if position is more vague like my one league, where it's under the same umbrella of FWD, then Kasperi Kapanen, since he's the much hotter player of the two. Jeff Carter is a third. He's far past his best years and is limited in his now twilight years of his career. He has put up some decent numbers since being a Pen, but nothing that he'll build on. If anything I can see the PPG avg dipping. There will either be a slow transition period adapting to your new linemates and assignments, or you can have that initial production uptick that happens based on an adrenalin of being in an excitement and new environment. Once the new shine goes away, the production goes with it. I think it's the latter for Jeff. I think he's old and understands the game enough to adapt, but based on his age and his ability, he'll show what he is... the .44 PPG guy he has been the past few years.
I'll always take the prorated 55-60 younger kids over the aging 30-35 point player.

Thanks guys! Rep given. Good luck finishing out your seasons.

I want to apologize profusely on all of us betting against Jeff Carter due to being the old man here... well, old man is sure making us look bad in this thread. Time to eat some crow.

I think Jeff Carter read this thread and it motivated him. Sure. LOL.
