    Default Last keeper spot?

    Hi Guys.
In a 16 teams dynasty league with a contract system that allows us to resign 5 of our Players with ending contracts.

    Our stats are:

G A PIM PPP SHP FW SOG HITS BLKS
    W GAA SA SV% SHO

    I have
    Nicklas Backstrom
    Sebastian Aho
    Oliver Bjorkstrand
    Linus Ullmark

As My 4 sure things. My 5th player has always been the plan to be Filip Hronek.
During the season i have signed Mackenzie Weegar and Jani Hakanpaa as injury replacements and managed to keep them All season.

So My question is does Any of those 2 guys push out Any from My original plan to resign, they are both pretty valuable in our league set up.

I am a contender currently in the league finals..

Im trying to figure out your post. So you are only allowed to re-sign up to five players on expiring contracts?? Is re-signing players the same thing to you as keepers? Is your contract system (as you call it) the same type of cap hit as the NHLs? (AAV? Salary??) I am not sure I quite understand your setup here. Also, it would help if you posted your full roster. No offense, but I am not sure I see Ullmark as a keeper in such a limited keeper.

This is My roster and I think you can see the setup. All players on non expiring contracts are keepers if i donnt release them and take half the contract value as a fine against the salary cap. I can resign 5 of the players on 1 year contracts, with some of Them being more obviously then others.
The salary system is bidding based on the players preseason rank on Yahoo.

Your second post is all important information to understanding what you were asking. Thank you.

Based on what I'm seeing, Hronek would be my choice.

OK, now we have a much better picture here.

Mackenzie Weegar is having quite a year and stuffing stats across your scoring format. He's a bit of a surprise. However, while he gets an honorable mention here I am not keeping him

Jani Hakanpaa hits everything in sight. But, he is pretty much one dimensional and contributing mediocre stats across the other categories makes him a fairly easy drop. You can redraft or find the hits elsewhere

Hronek. Your initial plan is the right one. IMO, he is your best option. Hronek is tracking nicely and he should develop into a top tier D Man and will contribute across multiple scoring cats. His upside is considerably above that of Weegar and I'm willing to bet he can hit that upside in the next few years.
