    Default NYR/WAS PIM Watch...

After the Wilson antics tonight, will there be bad blood carry over into next game? NYR don't really carry many fighters, B Smith and Rooney look about all. Worth burning my last move of the week on one of these guys to possibly win the PIMs this week?

If there is any bad blood will Wilson be part of it? Is he even going to play tonight? Is he done for the season? If you have the room maybe burn it but not sure if the Caps will want to engage (without Wilson) in shenanigans before the playoffs. Good question but I see NYR holding off until Wilson is confirmed to play like next year. They might beef up in the off season so this type of crap doesn't happen again.

If only they had Lemieux still.

Just a complete shot in the dark but Hathaway might get into it if NYR tries to stir something up. B. Smith is a top PIM producer on NYR at the moment.

brendan smith doesnt seem like the guy that would go to fight Tom like Simmonds did on Edler.

Will keep track of this thread for the rest of the day but not sure if its worth burning a move for a maybe

Morgan Barron called up, I see that he has 20 PIM in 21 GP this season but does anyone know if he's likely to go after Wilson?

Doubt it. Not a huge PIM guy previously. I think they called him up to reward him for being their best player in Hartford.

He also has 21 points in 21 GP this season - I think the call-up relates to that more than PIMS.

I am sure the Wolf Pack have players with more than 20PIMs and a are tougher than Barron if they were calling someone up to go after Wilson.

Smith had a good tilt with Wilson. A nice right popped his helmet off. Held his own and I'd probably give the decision to Smith.

Any predictions which goon the NYR go out and get this summer? No way last nights "fight night" was the end to all of this. Stay tuned for next season.

1 guy off the top of my head came to mind. Kurtis Gabriel F SJS, I believe he is a UFA and would come cheap. 6'4" 200 lbs.

there were many opinions that NHL liked what Wilson did and think its good for a game and that it creates more viewers and ect ect....if they want to add fuel to the fire they should suspend Buch for that cross check!

I'll be more surprised if Buchnevich doesn't get suspended than Wilson avoiding one LOL. You know it's coming.
