    Default Clarke/Hughes/Power/Eklund REP

I’ve got the first pick in my league’s prospect draft where each GM picks a prospect from the upcoming draft class. Of the guys I listed in the title, which guy do you think is the best in a points only league. I like Eklund, but I’m thinner on D prospects so I’m leaning towards Clarke, Hughes, or Power. Or is Eklund clearly the best choice regardless of need?

7 prospects. D scoring 3.75 for goal, 2.75 for assist. Forwards 3.5 for goal, 2.5 for assist. 0.5 for hits and blocks. Goalie scoring -1.5 GA, 0.3 for save, 2 points for win and extra 2 for shutout.

    D: Drysdale, Guhle, Perunovich

I'll normally draft the forward over the D if stuck with the choice. No difference here. Go with the forward.

I may be in the minority, but I'd take Lysell over Eklund but that's besides the point. I'd take Clarke and Hughes over Eklund, and if I had to choose, i'd take Luke Hughes at first overall.

Yes, our draft is after the NHL draft. Where they go will play a role in who I take, I’m just trying to get a consensus on who you all think has the best chance of being a stud.

31 TEAMS keep all multi-cat (lot of them) dynasty
Offensive stats : Goals, Assist , PPP, PPTOI, SOG...
Defensive stats : PKTOI, BLKS, TakeAway, Giveaway...

I'm surprised you don't have Dylan Guenther on this list. 12 + 12 in 12 WHL games. Playing well at U18s. The prospect gurus I read all have him top 2.

It would be Guenther, Eklund then Lysell for me if you're looking for offence. I think any of the D you mentioned MIGHT reach 40-50 points, and not for quite a while. Those three Fs have 70+ point potential.
12 team dynasty, H2H points, no cap, no max games
    12F (4 slots per pos), 6D, 2G, 32 players + 21 minor slots, minors eligibility <80 GP
    G: 4 / A: 2 / / Blk, Hit, SOG: 0.5 / Goalie W: 3 / Shutout: 1 / STP: 1 / SV% >.92: 1 / SV: 0.25

    C: Eichel, Trochek, Barzal, Suzuki,
W: Draisaitl, Ehlers, Dubois, Buchnevich, Necas, Debrusk, McCann, Jarvis
D: Hughes, Morissey, Chychrun, Bouchard, Pionk, Parayko, McNabb
    G: Ullmark, Hart, Grubauer, Korpisalo

    Prospects:
    Knies, Reichel, Kemell, Robertson
    Sandstrom
