    Default Any bad beat stories?

Anyone have a great season ruined by a bad couple of weeks? About two weeks ago, I was first in my points-only keeper pool, having traded much of my prospects/picks away for a shot to win. Since then:

Hedman: Two points in seven games
Ovi: Missed four games due to injury
Panarin: One point in four games
Kopitar: Two points in five games
Ryan Strome: Two points in seven games
Kyle Connor: One point in six games
Neal Pionk: Zero points in six games
Klingberg: Missed two games to injury, zero points in last three games
Burns: Two points in seven games
Grubauer: Missed two weeks due to being on COVID list
Lankinen: Hasn't won since April 12

Now Pacioretty may miss some games, and Marchessault missed a game last week.

My 20-point lead on April 20 has now dwindled to where I am in third place, trailing first-place (it's a tie) by 14 points. Very frustrating two weeks.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2020.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Marchessault, Pacioretty, Kyle Connor, Couturier, Stone, Tatar, R. Strome, J.T. Miller, Kapanen, Duclair, Puljujarvi, Krebs, Zegras, Heponiemi, Kaliyev
Defence: Hedman, Suter, Ellis, Pietrangelo, Pionk, Keith, Sanderson, Soderstrom
    Goalies: Hellebuyck, Rask, Korpisalo, Petersen

Lost one semis matchup by a single +/-, another by a single shot, one QF by a single PPP, and another QF by a single goalie win after Swayman lost 1-0 to Buffalo.

^Four different leagues, all the same week.

I got Thomas Greiss'd last week.

And also had like 4 guys go down to injury suddenly - Kreider, Hornqvist, Tatar, Krug.

I was the first seed, lost to the 6th seed in the semis.

I would have won my tight quarter final 2 weeks ago if I used Hagel active off minors spot instead of Jeannot . Hagel had a red injured flag hence the insertion of Jeannot ; Hagel had the game of his life .

my opponent picked up Holtby on the wire and S. Bennett ; both of whom were red hot that week .

I was against the greiss owner and he got him into his lineup due to his main guys unexpectedly getting the night off.

I added mcelhinney expecting him to start Sunday. Instead he starts Saturday and gets a shutout on my bench.

Lost 6 - 5 in my H2H. Dropped Suzuki to get another Goalie and opposing manager picked up Suzuki and his stats were the difference as to why I lost...
