Default Help! how do I properly calculate GAA here

I need to know if it is worth it to play Bernier today. I picked him up last night as a Hail mary for Sunday. He has McElhinney but I do not know if Tampa will play him on a back to back since he played last night and my opponent thought Vasi played Saturday.

I currently trail my opponent 5 to 6 in categories but lead in GAA and SV%.
My GAA vs opponent. 3.17 vs his 3.76
My SV% vs opponent. .895 vs his .877

In the saves category, I am behind 154 saves to his 171
We are tied at 2 wins each. He leads me in losses with 2 losses to my 4. Nobody has a shutout

I had 6 goalie starts this week.
Lehner: 2 goals against in 59.62 minutes.
Fleury 2 goals against in 63.04 minutes
Fleury: 2 goals against in 60 minutes
Hellebuyck: 4 goals against in 59.07 minutes.
Hellebuyck 2 goals against in 58.32 minutes
Hellebuyck: 6 goals against in 40 minutes.

Total 18 goals against in 339.85 minutes.

    154 saves against 172 shots

By my Math, Bernier could allow 4 goals on 8 shots and get pulled in the 1st period and still only drop my Sv% to 88.04

but i can't for the life of me figure out how to calculate the GAA and how it would burn me

I also hail Mary add dropped skaters. I have 5 skaters to his 1 skater today.

If Saves is your most likely category to catch /make up ground then you have to play Bernier.

The score is close elsewhere. I have 10 goals to his 12 and I have 26 points to his 27 points.

    I am also -1 to his +1

And we are tied in GwG and SHP.

I have vrana, point, sergachev, zadina and Erne as skaters on my roster today.

    He only has Cernak .

But he has Mchinhley who played in goal last night. Will he play again? Why didn't vasilievskye dress last night?

Goals Against Average (GAA) formula = (Goals Against ÷ Minutes Played) × Game length

    Goals Against Average (GAA) = (18 ÷ 339.85) × 60

    Goals Against Average (GAA) = 0.0529645431808151 × 60

Goals Against Average (GAA) = 3.177872590848904

Goals Against Average (GAA to 2 decimal places) = 3.18

EDIT: If Bernier played 20 minutes and gave up 4 goals on 8 shots your combined GAA would be 3.69 for the week.

    Thank you sir.

That's really a bad case scenario. Ideally it doesn't happen like that.

But trying to determine how a bad case scenario impacts me helps. In this case, it would have to be worse to tank me gaa and sv% below my opponents so I guess playing him is the better statistical play
