It’s too early to write Hart off. Most goalies aren’t making their NHL debuts until their mid 20s, and he’s still only 22.
Will he be the next Vasilevskiy? Probably not. Will he be out of league in the next couple years? Probably not.
Will he be a decent starting goaltender as he matures? Most likely

Hart is, at worst, the second best young goalie they've had since Hextall. Bobrovsky would be the other one, and I don't want to get into the whole Bryzgalov deal, shipping away Bob for crap when he was young, and watching him win Vezinas.
The Flyers development strategy for non-forwards was different (read actually existed) under Hextall as opposed to the abominations of the Clarke & Homgren eras where they were always win now and get established guys, because the suspect propsects aren't panning out.
I think he's got a bright future, but this year was bleak for a number of reasons.
He's worth a grab because he costs literally nothing for you, and it only takes one believer for that to go well.

Goalies are voodoo, even elite goalies and Carter Hart is elite. He'll be fine.
