Seattle has 3rd best odds
AZ is in the lottery if they miss the playoffs, but their pick is forfeited due to that cheating scandal so if they win it they will do a redraw

Was hoping for appointment TV for me but Detroit is closer to 10th than they are #1.

One week to go. Feels like there's so little fanfare around the lottery this year. I guess there isn't the same level of excitement for the top end of the draft as usual, partly due to the talent and partly due to scouts not really knowing what to make of players that didn't get to play much.

Anyone else feel like this draft will be a lot like the Hischier/Patrick draft? Some elite hidden gems go 4-10.
can't say I've ever traded away this many 1st round picks across my pools.
Seemed like a good time due to limited scouting of players.

Absolutely. There will be some gems at the top of the first round but maybe not 1st or 2nd etc, I think the trepidation around this draft is less about there being a great top talent and more about having no idea who that top talent is. It'll be more wacky than weak. Don't expect a "generational" type talent but there should be some legit star power to be had.

That draft turned out pretty decent outside of the top 4, wouldn't be surprised if the lack of scouting turned out similar results in this one but I'd still want the chance to swing and miss at the top.
