So basically can keep the prospects protected and keep them for up to 5 years plus keep a lindholm or laine type in Stamkos place

    Id take the prospects.
Trading aging keepers is always tough and it never really feels like you get full value. That said i think that's a great return especially since both Laf and Robertson can be kept as prospects. Cant figure out why a bottom 3 team would want to trade those guys away.

I like the prospects side considering that both teams are at the bottom of the league. If the team receiving Stamkos was competing it would make a lot more sense.
    Team 1:
J Hughes, Cooley (r), Bratt, Laine, M Tkachuk, Necas, A Svechnikov, S Jarvis, M Michkov (r), W Johnston, Zegras, Giroux, Norris, Couturier, B Jenner, T Krug, Burns, M Weegar, Werenski, Sergachev, B Clarke (r), Theodore, Sorokin , Oettinger, Askarov (r), Ersson
    12 teams, No salary cap
Keep 14 plus 4 rookies (under 150 GP) max 18 players
    Scoring: G (1), A (1), +/- (0.25), H (0.1), B(0.1), PIM (0.1), SOG (0.1), GWG (1), PPP (1), SHP (1),
    Goalies: W (2), SO (3), GA (-0.5), OTL (1), SV (0.1)

Ya he was trying hard but he isn't very smart. He has never won a championship in 15 years in our keeper league! Imagine lol (he came 3rd once 🙄🤯&#128563

    I want the non-Stamkos side.

Robertson is producing like Stamkos this year, and is not hurt. Free to keep
LaFreniere is an elite prospect. Free to keep.
Gets to have another solid player in place of Stamkos: Laine or Lindholm are solid options.
There's a pick as well, but not really meaningful.

I'd do this deal without the pick.
