We are starting to run thin on time.

Any suggestions/thoughts if we don't get through another round or two today.

Currently it is 53 hours to puck drop and we have 53 picks remaining.

Right now we have been at this for exactly 7 days... to the hour right now and have gotten through 7.5 rounds.

At the current pace we are going to get stuck at 10 rounds max.

Unless everyone is okay with drafting after games start... which I strongly dislike.

If someone is drafting a bunch of Ottawa and they have Zub as a sleeper pick lined... then Ottawa plays there first game of the playoffs and Zub has 2 assists... someone who has 0 Senators sees this and its their turn to pick... they pick Zub.... who they would have never picked if it was done before games started.

If someone knows they won't be around for a couple of hours they should send a list to someone else.

Really, the only option is to put a clock on picks, but that wouldn't be feasible with the amount of time left. Maybe we can have a soft time cap. Ie - You have two hours to make your pick. If you miss it, the next person can choose. You can always make up your pick when you log on, but maybe make a rule that you can't pick back to back (except for those picking on the ends). You don't want someone drafting in the middle keeping their picks so they can draft two or three players from the same team all at once.

I don't think it's as much of an issue to be drafting one or two games into the playoffs. It doesn't end up changing a lot in the end.

Also happy to cap it at 10 rounds if that's what people want.

I have a list for horrorfan - so IF it makes it to his pick tonight we can at least look forward to getting through the turn.
