    Cool KEEPER HELP (Playoffs looming!!!)

    Hi all,
With playoffs starting next week I am looking to maximize player starts and decide who my keepers are.

    - 14 Team League, H2H
    - We play up 8/9 forwards and 4/5 D a night
    (2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D + 1 F, 1 W, 1 Util) Also 2 IR, 2 IR+ slots

    G A PTS +- PIM PPP SOG
    Keep 9 Skaters

    My keeper locks
    C: Barkov
    LW: Marchand
    RW: Kucherov, Gaudreau(LW)
    D: Carlson

Who are my other 4 keepers? Trades are next to impossible in my league.

    C: Malkin, Trocheck
    LW: Nugent-Hopkins (c), Hertl (c), Mantha (RW)
Rw: Kakko, Bjorkstrand (LW), Rust (LW)
    D: Ekblad, Doughty

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
This is my first year going through fantasy playoffs, I figure a lot of great players will be dropped in order to meet maximum starts. Next week Washington and Edmonton only play 2 games!

    Good luck everybody!!!!

Malkin, Ekblad, and Trotchek for sure, and then I give a slight edge to Rust over Bjorkstrand, with Mantha (if he breaks out in WSH) and RNH (if he re-signs with EDM or depending where he lands) as wild cards.

I agree with the first 3... Malkin, Ekblad and Trocheck should also be locks for next season.
As for the remainder, I actually give a slight edge to Doughty. He is still a PP threat for a weak LA team, and has 16 power play points this season, which puts him behind only Hedman and Fox on the year. He is bound to regress eventually, but so is Malkin and Marchand... so really, why not get 1 more solid season out of him. (Unless you feel you can re-draft him, then I would keep Mantha).

I agree with these 3. As for the last keeper spot, its too close to call right now and the last month will hopefully give some clarity.
That said if you are looking to maximize starts, the guys I would consider most expendable would be Kakko and Hertl.
